did you finally arrived in La Paz? We had been really impressed seeing you riding out of Thola Palca after we spent this freezing and ugly raining night together in the casa de salud.

After reaching Potosi a busdriver told us about the crazy gringa which is doing the Americas on two horsebacks. We silently nodded our heads, yes, we know her. We, the two german cyclists, wish you all the best for the rest of your trip.

Greetings from Denmark and all the best wishes for your future riding further north.

Your diary makes me remember back in 1986-87 where I rode from the Bolivian/Argentinian border (Yacuiba in the Chaco) to Camiri. A short trip compared to yours. In 1998 I rode from Cuzco to Arequipa in Peru. For me both countries
are great for riding, and especially the bolivians very extremely kind. At the moment I'm planning a ride from Ayacucho to Cuzco, Peru. Hopefully next year.

I'm looking forward to read more during your trip.
