Marianne,
It was a privilege and a pleasure to meet
you as you rode through our town. I only wish
that every one you met here had welcomed you.
Please don't let anyone else s' doubts upset
you. Your passion for your cause and your
determination to finish your journey shined
quietly through your road weariness. By the
end of our interview I was convinced of your
sincerity and I think you are quite
extraordinary. I only wish the malcontents
had chosen to meet you before they were so
quick to judge you.
Come back to Middleburg anytime, as they say
in Ireland, Beidh fáilte romhat ag
aon tam you'll be most welcome at anytime.

Saw you riding north along The Plains Road
into Middleburg this afternoon, and very much
enjoyed talking to you, if only for a few
seconds.
Wishing you the best of luck on the rest your
journey--especially as you approach New York
City. Northern New Jersey can be pretty tough,
even in a car! |

Hey
Marianne ! We really enjoying meeting you
and your horses and were so lucky you came
to stay with us two nights in Virginia. You
are an inspiration to us all in pursuing your
dream with such spirit & vigor and for
such a great and useful purpose. Hope things
weren't a bit dodgy up 522 to Culpepper. Keep
in touch & if time permits - need a nanny
in the fall. Much thought - Walter, Elizabeth,

I'd heard sooner that you were coming so near
to our farm - would have been glad to shelter
you and the horses here! Best of luck with
the remaining trip - just read Tschiffley's
book and admire you both! |

We
are interested in hosting Marianne when she
travels through to New York. We are a pediatric
therapeutic riding/hippotherapy program, also
raising money to build an indoor arena. We
could arrange for publicity, and also provide
excellent accomodations for her horses and
herself! Please contact us ... |

Dearest
Marianne,
Your visit to our home was truly a highlight
to 2004. Your sense of adventure coincides
with our love for the open road on our Harleys.
In the back of our minds, we are planning
to see you in Ireland on our HOGS. Take care
and see you later. |

Dear
Marianne,
Enjoyed reading your steed's experiences coming
through the Americas. Actually I know you
are in contact with my friend Susan Daley
Bray, so am getting updates from her. I know
the weather in the Carolinas and Virginia
has been attrocious this last month so I'm
hoping you and your horses have been able
to keep safe and warm while travelling. I
look forward to hearing more about your journey
from the tata website and Susan.
Happy Trails
