I was deeply touched by your story. I am 46
years old and read Aime Tschiffely's book
as a teenager. I was born in Wales and have
visited the Welsh in Patagonia (Y Wladfa).
I have seen some of the great estancias and
visited many friendly people on the pampas.

annual AGM and Field Day are tomorrow at the
Kill
Equestrian Centre in Kildare.
I have followed your progress in the last
year. You have done amazingly well. Congratulations.
We are so looking forward to welcoming you
home. If you have time please will you email
us and give us an update. Keep up the good
work.
We have had a good year here. Some of our
RDAI Riders represented Ireland in the Special
Olympic Equestrian Event. They did very well
and won lots of medals. Many of us volunteered
as helpers at the event which was great fun.

was 3 months ago that I met Marianne when
she was passing through South Georgia. Meeting
her was one of those rare moments in life
when deep down you know that meeting someone
like her will never happen again. It was a
pleasure not only to get to know her but also
to becomeher friend. If the world had more
people like Marianne we would have little

I
have been going to riding lessons in Campbell
for over two
years now. I am an excellent jumper (at least
that's what my instructor says). Both my parents
are special education teachers and I am very
interested it as well. I love riding and would
be very pleased to teach. To combine both
my interests, I plan to have a thereputic
riding facility of my own. I want to call
it Lucky Horseshoe Arenas. I don't know where
it will be located though. Being in the 7th
grade, though, I have plenty of time to think
about it before I graduate.

I found your crop and bungie cord and will
return it when we come to Ireland to visit!
Katy's Gypsy horse is flying in to NYC this
month sometime. Wouldn't it be cool if it
was parade day when she had to pick him up?
What day is the parade?? I emailed THE VIEW
so maybe you'll hear from them. One of the
gals on there was on the SURVIVOR
